2 for 2 on sows but not ears

We started gun deer season Saturday I am trying to thin down the hogs that have been spending all night at the feeders.

I had a small boar come out before dark, but waited to see if any of the bigger one I had on camera showed up.

This one was there last night.

At the last possible bit of daylight I had 4 or 5 come out and I was having trouble getting them in the scope. Finally dropped one with the 6.5 CM suppressed and got down. I had brought my 300 BO with the thermal also and scoped the other feeder but nothing. Started to walk to the truck since it I had already been sweating all evening. Then I saw that a couple had come back to the feeder where I had shot one. I shot the bigger and the other ran off. If you look close, you can see a slight heat signature where the first one is laying to the left of the one shot on video.

They were laying side by side. Not sure which one was shot first, but one was a sow with no ears that I have been getting pictures of since last year.

Plenty more where they came from.

Awesome!! If my hogs fall 50yds out side of the bait site I’ll leave them. Well I was at the plantation one night waiting for the camera to go off and when it didn’t I decided to walk on down and do some scanning. Get to where i can see and see two hogs eating on the dead hog I’d shot 3-4 for days before. They don’t care about dead hogs at all, whether fresh or rotting.

I haul then away from my feeder and hunt area so I don’t have 40 buzzards and coyotes hanging around to spook the deer off.
