#2 lead or bb lead shot?

same thing ones #2 copper plated other is bb copper plate.Which one to use for yotes.Thing is the#2 could double for turkey loads were i live .

The 2's would be about 30 yds. You maybe able to strech the BB's. Try 'em both and see what patterns better. I prefer #4 Buckshot.

BB will serve you better for coyotes than #2's.

id prob go with the #2 within 30 yards or however my guns pattern them also .over on a Michigan people talking about using steel T,bb,bbb shot .not that i would i only use lead so far

I think anything bigger than #2 is considered buckshot on wma which is illegal in GA

Your on the right track,Pattern them first at expected hunting ranges.One thing I have seen with the larger shot sizes is them becoming whaded up in the fur and not penatrating as well.Good Luck

On our coyotes...BB is the absolute minimum. Our dogs get up to 50-60# and #2 lead simply doesnt penetrate well enough. I use #4 buck personally.
