2-way radios for Coyote calling.

When I was taking out newbies I had a set of Midland GTX 650's, haven't used them in years(15). I have them in a box and charge them every once in a while to keep them alive.. Hunting with a partner verbal communication isn't really a big deal.

If you’re looking for 2-way radios with headsets, I've had good luck with a few setups. Last season, I used a pair of radios with headsets for hunting. They were pretty handy, especially for staying in touch without having to shout or signal each other.

The radios we used had clear audio and were comfortable to wear for long periods. The headsets made it easy to communicate discreetly, which was great for keeping noise down. One thing to look for is how well the headset fits and if it has a good microphone that filters out background noise. Some models also have push-to-talk features, which can be super useful.

I use Eartec headsets, voice activated, adjustable Mic and earmuff/speaker on one side.

Comfortable and can wear all day with a ball cap on;-)

Purchased a couple extra batteries as well.

Radios? Headsets? Dang, y'all get serious about some coyotes.
This is extremely common among groups running hounds. We started using use Baofeng radios almost 10 years ago now. Way better distance than any Motorola or Midland radio we've used in the past, but still gets deteriorated by thick cover or rolling terrain. There is a new radio out called Rapid Radios that is a true 2-way radio but uses T-Mobile (I think) towers and works nationwide. I haven't got my hands on one yet, but these will hands down be the best overall choice.

Yeah. I get if you are running dogs. We used to use Cobra's, Galaxy's, etc. with linears.

2-way radios for Coyote calling.

I don't think you'll have any luck with that, Mr. Pop. I've tried and tried, but the coyotes seem to be on a different frequency down here. Had a lot better luck w/Foxpro. ;);) Sorry, couldn't resist..........:devilish:
