Okay guys I have. 20-6.8 spc black hole weaponary barrel showing up tomorrow was wondering how many steps to neck down from 6.8 to 20 cal and what size bushings also who makes the best 6.8 brass?

There's some 20x6.8 brass out there already prepped. I don't remember who makes it I think it's called a 20 pdk. I don't know anything about the steps in gettimg to where you want to be, just thought I'd throw it out there.

You can do it in four steps using a CH4D 6X6.8 die. I do it in 0.015 increments from 243 so that is three there. If I go regular bushings I go from 6.8 to 204 in five or six. I believe I wrote the procedure for the process on the BHW board. PM me and I'll look at some specific numbers.

Brass quality is what you like. I've been using OLD SSA and Federal. Guys are now saying new SSA is very good. I have not tried it so am leary of it. Hornady doesn't get rave reviews but lots of guys use it because it can be had in bulk pretty easily. None of it lasts like Lapua. I would get my neck turning gear out two as necks get pretty inconsistent moving that amount of brass.

The PDK is not the same. Shoulder angles and location are different. The website for that series of cartridges is pretty neat but the load data is hotter than the hubs of hades in some areas. I won't shoot it....lol

I just ordered some of the new ssa. Hopefully its better than the fc brass I have now.
