200 Yard Range Report

I went to the range today and planned on verifying my 200 yard. It was a beautiful day and NO wind. Gotta love that.
I took a couple of shot and my zero was only off 1 click (from theoretical zero at 100). So it was time for some 5 shot groups.
My first group is on the left and I was real happy. I was definitely thinking of some luck here. So I had to shoot another group which is on the right. It was even better! This is from shooting prone with a bipod and rear bag.

The targets are out of spec electronic scale plates that are usually thrown away. The diameter is 3.248".

I put the targets into "On Target". Here are pictures of them.

I've shot my best groups off the bipod, too. Seemed hard to believe, but there's not much room for improvement on your groups.

.123 MOA, huh? Nice!

Hey recko, I'm waiting for my 20 practical from woa. Hope it shoots as good as yours. Should be here in 2-3weeks if my calculations are correct.

Thanks for all the comments guys.

Evil,
That is the ATC (average shot from center), not the entire group. I didn't set up a center, so it automatically picked one and calculated that.

Dead,
My buddy order his some time back and received his 20 Practical last week. From barrel break in, his seems to be a shooter also!. Make sure you post pictures of yours when it comes.

Psyco,
I started with a stripped lower from RRA and put together the lower. I also put in a Geissele trigger (it is as good as one wishes). Then I order a 20 Practical complete upper from WOA. It is a 24" Pac Nor barrel (3 groove barrel).

Great shooting.

Got to ask, that scope appears to be mounted extremely far forward. Maybe 3 inches in front of the stock / receiver interface in line with the trigger. Don't recall seeing a traditional scoped AR with optics mounted that far forward. Any tips / how do you maintain the field of view / sight picture / cheek weld. Is your anchor point the charging handle?

BB,
Yes, it is.
The scope is a Sightron SIII 6-24x50 Mildot. The rings are LaRue Tactical SPR-E LT-139 (extended eye relief). It is on 24 power majority of the time (I mostly do spot and stalk), unless I am calling.

Man all these great 200 yrd groups,,,gonna have to stretch out the old rifle.... lol,,

Great shooting and good looking rig.................X
