Been getting my gear together for the last week with cooler weather coming I wanted to be ready. I got up late this morning and ate, got my gear rounded up and put in the truck, Took forever,I just traded trucks so nothing was in the new one. Opened the safe and got out my Proper and Right coyote rifle that BangPop built for me a few years ago! Got setup in an old goose blind next to the timber.
Set the call out started it up(8:01am) and waited changed calls. 12 mins in a coyote came from behind me downwind as usual made a circle out in a picked corn field that had been disc and cover crop pit in . He stopped at 275yds shinning in the sun that was the last thing he remembers.
The 52gr Berger match sent him to coyote heaven.
This is looking back to the blind on the right side on the corner of the timber(sun to my back wind crossing my face)
With the flooding here the area they can run is cut down a bunch so I had to take advantage of that
1st call this one down! Better quit while I'm ahead.
