Headed out Thursday morning for the first pd shoot this summer. Staying at a new hotel(for me). BIL is my co-shooter(retired marine with stage 4 liver cancer). Lately his B12 levels have been low, so I may need to give him shots each day. Taking a heavy barrel 22 mag, 204R, a couple 223 and at least one 22-250. Rancher said to bring my thermal and try at night for a coyote or two. Made up a new seat for my portable bench, BIL has same bench frame, so I can let him use it if needed.

Plague hit this ranch last year, some areas almost no dogs. We knew that but wanted to see and check on friends.

Sorry to hear about your BIL, hope he is blessed by the trip.

B12 helped his energy level, made back to back shooting days much easier for him. 2nd day I didn't fire a shot, just spotted for him until 4:15. Than I picked out a spot on the road that was 4 miles away, navigated to it with my ONX where he picked me up at 6. Found a coyote den on the hike.
