I just picked up a 22-250 with a 26" 1/12 twist barrel.
any 22-250 shooters have any loads or info on the winchester loaded 64 grain sp or load bullets in this range, and will they work in a 12 twist?

I have a son-in-law that I just loaded some 22-250's for. He is shooting a 55gr nosler ballistic tip with 38.5grs of H380 and doing around 3650fps @ muzzle. Shoots around a 3/4 to 1" group at 200yds. His gun has a 1/12 twist to it. It might shoot your heavy bullets but the twist is made for lighter ones.

I just put a 1-12 twist lilja on my 22-250 with hopes of shooting 55 and 60 grain bullets. I just got it back and have not been able to try it out. The above load should be a great mid to max range load.

My 1:12 twist Encore shoots the 60 Hornady V-max and HP bullets very, very well with 33.6 grains Varget and is pushing them 3450 fps at the muzzle.

I have shot the 64 grain winchester pp in my 1-12 .223 and it did appear to stabilize the bullets, but my groups weren't great so I didn't end up using them.

H414/W760, magnum primers and the 64gr winchester power point are what i shoot in the 22-250. Your 1-12" will shoot them perfectly. The 64gr power point is a very tough bullet that performs as a big game bullet should.
