22-250 in 22 CM

Was doing a little hunting this morning and this crossed my mind. Could you shoot 22-250 loads in a 22CM? I have heard of some getting their brass from a 22-250. Of course the brass would be fireformed afterward. No intention on doing this just one of those what if scenarios. Thoughts?? If this has been discussed before I guess I forgot about it.
 
This is how I broke in my barrel and got my first 100 or so rounds of brass. It worked just fine. I have a ton of 22-250 loads so it was helpful in finding a starting load for varius bullet weights.
 
We did it with my buddies 22 cm and some of my Berger reloads. They ran a lot slower in his gun than they did in my 22-250. I have 2 more inches of barrel on my 22-250 but they were about 300-350 FPS slower. As far as groups go, the 4 shot group measured right around .6-.7”. Not too bad all things considered.
