22 Creedmoor Brass

Thinking about building a LW short barrel 22 Creedmoor and I know there are a couple 22CM shooters here.

Whose brass are you 22CM shooters using and are you using small primer or large primer brass?

I generally use Lapua for everything and I know I could neck down Lapua 6mm CM brass, but Alpa and ADG are making 22CM brass and I believe they both make it in SP and LP. I think they both make great brass but is there a preference among the 22CM crowd?

You don't by chance know who is making Gunwerks brass for them do you? I've heard whispers ADG is making it but nothing confirmed on that.

Tried alpha and got pressure early. Peterson is good to go. Used large primer first and then switched to small. Not much of a difference here but I’m also running a gas gun. Just bought 500 star line 6creed SRP brass and loaded some 22 creed up to test it.

I'm getting my parts together for a 22 creed, and plan to start with Petersen. Used Petersen before and really liked it. I've heard the Alpha has some pressure issues. I'm not sure if that is still the case or not.

Yes sir it's ADG.

I'm running necked down Starline 6mm CM brass on mine. I bought 100 pcs of Alpha, but it can't handle the same powder charge. I'm running 43.2 gr of H4350 pushing a 75 gr A-Max at 3500 fps out of a 20" barrel.

Appreciate all the responses so big thanks to y'all.

I've changed my mind and will be doing a 20in barreled 6CM instead so Lapua brass it will be.
