Friday I picked up some 45g Dynapoints to try in the Marlin.
Not a good round for the Marlin. It looked more like a shotgun pattern, than a rifle group, roughly 3" or so at 50 yards.
I guess I gotta keep looking for a heavy load that shoots decent for larger critters.
