Anyone have one of the 22 tcm 1911's? I picked one Up a few weeks ago thinking it would be a good carry gun around the farm. Unfortunately, I can't find any ammo, or dies. It shoots around 2300 fps with factory 40 grain loads. I was thinking it would be pretty impressive with some 35 grain vmaxes.

Here are some places to check some have dies, some have ammo. www.AMMOSUPPLYWAREHOUSE.COM or Hart Brothers Weaponry in Mason City, IA has some ammo1-641-903-0024. Ben Syring at Hornady 800 338-3220 extension 261 for dies, or Fred Craig in Pahrump, Nevada
He can supply you with Lee Precision 3 die set ,
and load data
He also has brass, bullets and magazines available
give him a call .........
you can find his number here:

The TCM is a blast to shoot. Very fast, accurate, hits pretty hard and negligible recoil.

ammosupplywarehouse is the place I had found dies. They are out of stock until sometime this summer. The cost was $75. I've heard you can have Hornady make a set up custom for $160.

As listed above you can try to contact Fred Craig, but I heard he quit selling dies and components, as he turned all of that over to ammosupplywarehouse.

You can find ammo for the TCM online priced reasonably (around $20 per 50 rds.) But the best place I found is direct from the source: Armscor They also have mags available, which you might want.

If you plan to reload you will need brass anyway.

Good shooting...

Thanks guys. Every place that I have checked is out on the dies. I contacted Fred himself and he said it would be the summer before they had any new dies made up. If someone hears of a set, please let me know.
