I too wanted a Swift last year. They're difficult to find as not many manufacturers chamber rifles in that cartridge. My choice was a Rem 700 VSF II which is a great rifle.
Settled on a .22-250 which I got cheaper. The .22-250 is a good cartridge too, but I regret my decision.
Reality is the Swift will move a bullet 200 fps faster and that is a difference hard to overlook in varmint hunting.
