VV N135 and N140 have been like magical fairy dust for me with those bullets in 223. Of course sometimes VV is as hard to find as magical fairy dust to.

Nonetheless, it looks like your on the right track.

Really close to the same data I have with my .223's using the 69SMK's... for varmints and targets they are grrreat, although I've had bad experience with those rounds and Coyotes.
Awesome groups BTW.

This!!!! I use N140 with the Berger 64 grain varmint bullet and it just about puts them in the same hole...I also had good luck with IMR 4166 with the same bullet.
I don't know why you'd want to try anything else with those groups...for some reason I just had no luck with 8208.

What velocity are you getting from your 223 with 7" twist with the 69gn Sierra ?
I am shooting a home swaged 69gn boat tail soft point in a Savage/Stevens model 200 in 223 with 1/9" twist using IMR-4895 powder and getting 2950 fps at about .5 moa.
This barrel was awfully rough as new and needed lapped before it would shoot decently. At $265.00 new out the door I didn't expect much. I really only bought it for the action.

Take a serious look at IMR-4166.
69grn SMK / 24.0 grns
60grn Hornady VMAX / 24.0 grns
55grn Hornady VMAX / 26.0 grns

There is an overlap in the start/max on the 69 and 60 grain bullets.

I loaded the 69 SMKs at .010 off the lands and had no pressure signs.
The 60s and 55s I loaded at 2.260 and also had no pressure signs.

All loads were under an inch ad 100yds. Savage Axis .223, 1 in 9" twist.

25.5gns Varget, 69 SMK, LC brass, BR4 Primer
10 shots at 100yds from an SPS Tactical 20" /9tw
Small squares are 1/4"

Your loads are right in line with what I saw.

I thought you said 10 shot's I only see 1.lol nice shooting!

Do all 10 shot groups from a 223 look like that? Actually below is two 5 shot groups (10 shots total) on back to back days looking at same poa (3/4" sticker dot target).

Don't overlook BenchMark. Meters like milk too...

POI is the same vertically for groups 4 and 5 so this appears to be your powder sweet spot. I would have to see chrono results to verify but if I was you I would load to the center of 4 and 5(25.4)and then do seating depth testing to tighten up groups even more. Good shooting!!
