I am looking at getting my son and I new scopes for our 22lr's for squirrel hunting. They will be Leupold VX Freedom's. However, which one would you recommend?
2-7x33
3-9x40
3-9x33 EFR
How important is the EFR (adjustable objective) for say 50 yards and under predominantly?
I am not as concerned about the price differences as I am about actual results. I will spend the money for the EFR if it is useful or may someday be needed. However, I do not want to spend the money if I will never need nor use this feature.
