22wrf vs 22wmr cartridges... bought wrong ones???

Hi Everyone,

I bought 5 boxes of 22wrf by mistake and I meant to buy 22wmr cartridges. Will the 22wrf rimfires shoot fine in my 22 mag rifle??

if you have 22 long rifle ammo DO NOT shoot then you probably will get a face full of burning powder

You can shoot the WRF in a WMR but not the other way around. You will be shooting a much lower velocity cartridge.

The .22WRF was better known as the old .22 SPECIAL I think. More powerful than .22 Long Rifle, but not as powerful as the .22WMR.
