23 caliber?

why hasnt any manufacturer invented a 23 caliber centerfire round yet, in my opinion this size would be perfect for varmints/predators. maybe the balistic co. wouldnt work but who knows give me ur thoughts

i thought the same thing so i dezined a 23 of my own. i dezined it with a 300 win mag case and a medeum sized bullet but you cant relly make your own because there arent eney barrle makers making a .23, and i see why you came up with the 23 where i live its the smalles cal you can hunt big game with. i guess you and me are the only ones who thought of this idea.

Oh HorseyPOO!!!

Parker Ackley liked the 23 caliber. He even invented the 230 Ackley Magnum.

Barrels are available from Pac Nor, in several "23 caliber" sizes. some are .230", and others are .236"

Anyhoo, I really do think that if the gun makers would introduce a round in this diameter it would sell like hotcakes, I can see variations in both bolt and semi-auto actions. (Witness the blistering success of the 204 Ruger).

People are starving for something truly new.

The gunmakers should give it to us.
