NOT Varget!

43+g of R#19 with a win primer will get you some REAL speed with blistering accuracy around 3300 fps, then I shoot 44.5g of R#19, win primer with the 85g NON tipped triple shock for deer and hogs bullet seated .050 off the lands.

Varget worked best with a 60g Sierra at 41-42g, shot bug holes at 3900, master blaster coyote load for quartering shots, hip shots, shoulder shots.

I am looking for small groups with some velocity. H4350 worked better for me with the 85-87g weights but it is a very rare and hard to get powder now in the USA, as they are not shipping much into the states due to a World Wide demand.

HV 100 is one step slower than H4350 and should do very well. Some are reporting that R26 and N550 duplicates H4350, but take that with a grain of salt.

There was a noticeable decrease in bullet drop at 300 yards(200 yd zero) with the R#19 vs the Varget load with the 87, I'm taking night and day, which is the only reason that I mention it.

Good luck!

My 243 load for 87 Vmax is 41.8 gr of IMR 4451 => 3043 fps from a 22" RAP.
Have tried Varget, just as accurate, but it was slower than 4451.

39.5g of imr 4064 with a Fed 210 did 3100

44.5g of R#19 with a win primer is doing 3300 in my rifle

Work up to these loads in your rifle
