243 AI BERGER 87gr VLD?

Anyone using this combo on yotes? Any pet loads? If not I will find out next week, just bought a box of bergers today to play with.

Just got back from the pit. 87 gr berger over 39gr of varget shot .7 or a little better. Know to try it on a live target.

Got a range update?

I've got just under 200 of these and want to use them for deer and coyotes. I have varget, H4831sc, re 15 and 22, and some imr 3031.

Did you find any other loads than the 38 or so of varget?

Yes I loaded 4831sc with .7 groups. I havent messed with seating depth yet to fine tune. My son shot his buck at 150yds, it was a little back took about an inch off both lungs and turned the liver into jelly. The buck took three steps fell over, i thought he shot him in the heart with the way the deer acted. I was suprised to see it was a liver shot. I have also killed 3 coyotes with this load two broadside with small exits and one frontal with no exit. No runners or spinners so far. The longest shot was 200yds, so no long shots yet.
