243 ballistics ?

For you guys with ballistics charts, if I zeroed my rifle at 200yds where would poi. be at 100 and 300 yards? And what is the recomended zero for a 243? my shots are usually 100 to 400.

We need a lot more details.
Bullet, MV, scope height, altitude.
Ballistics programs are very good but only if you input the right numbers.

if you're only going to 400yds max you might want to just shoot those ranges and find out.

Sorry guys, I didnt think my question all the way through with all the variables involved. I was just looking for a general starting point with factory ammo. What distance would you guys zero your rifles for those ranges was more what I was after I guess.

It would help to know barrel length and bullet size

set up some targets and find out. that is the only exact way to know point of impact.
most any reloading manual will have trajectory data, but without a chrony it is all just a guess.

i sight my sporter .243s one inch high at 100. then shoot at the other ranges. to determine.
