I use my .243, Stevens 200, for Coyote so this may not help you at all.

55 grn Nosler BT
39 grns of Benchmark
Winchester Brass
Winchester LRP.

Just under MOA out to 300yds.

For Antelope & Deer use an 80g speer hot core, 85g Sierra GK HP or 95g Nosler BT hunting bullet all those shoot great in my Savage M11, 1/9.25" and all are MOA at 100yds with the sporter bbl.

Yep any of the common used bulelts will be fine. Seldom hear anything bad about:

85gr Sierra HPBT (great duel purpose bullet & still works very well on deer)
100gr Sierra Gameking (I've had great luck with this bullet: accuracy & terminal performance)
100gr Sierra Prohunter
100gr Honaday Interlock
90 & 95 gr Nosler BT

Speer & Corlokt are also popular.

Lots of guys swear by the 80 & 85gr Barnes also.

I would suggest a Nosler partition of 95 or 100 Grains.

I do not have a load for the Nosler as the load I worked up for my Daughters 243 was done many a year ago with the Sierra 100 GR Pro Hunter.

Rifle - Winchester Mod. 70 Youth Ranger in .243 Win.

Win. Brass FL sized - CCI 200 primers - 37.o Grains of IMR 4064 - .80 (8/10) Grains over Max by the latest Sierra Manual - Sierra 100 Gr FB ( Pro Hunter ).

37 Grains wasn't over Max at the time of working up load.

55-80 grainers for me(Noslers, Sierra and Hornady's) with either H-414 or Varget. Kinda hard to mess up. My present working-up load is 70 gr. NBT's with 41.0 grs of Varget. So far so good... .241 3-shots at 100.

My bosses kid smashed a doe a little under 200yds last year with his Savage 243 Predator with the same twist. He was running Berger 95gr. hunting VLD's in it. I want to say he was using IMR 4350 but not sure. I'd try that and IMR 4064 and work up. Walt Berger doesn't mind sharing load data if you email him off their site.

Published "Max" is just an arbitrary number. The max load in your gun doesnt change depending on what book you open up. Each rifle is independant of itself & handles pressures differently from guns in the books. Published charges are GUIDELINES. I've seen rifles that could not take published max (new modern rifles). It's up to the handloader to be responsible enough to identify pressure spikes. You'll be in the ballpark "Max" but published #'s really mean squat.

Pretty much +1. I like the 100 gr ProHunter. Or the 100 gr Speer SPBT. Both will shoot easy and work a deer over, very well.

i got the gun today and a box of 100g. win super x. the first two shots grouped almost touching.(cooled n cleaned between) adjusted scope and the same with two more shots.(cool n clean) adjust again and a 3 shot group without the clean and cool. two were tight and the 3rd alittle low but still good. a quarter wouldnt quite cover the three. i took some pics and as soon as i find the stinkin usb cable...I post em. i cant wait to see what it'll do with some reloads. any one of the shots would of easily taken a deer. and in the long run, thats what i got it for. but is it wrong for a guy to play with his kids stuff???
