How much would you give for a Stevens 200 in 22-250? Has 100 rounds down the tube and someone tried to paint it...poorly at that.

$275 is the asking and I wont pay that much, but want to make an offer. How low is too low to offer?

Is the seller someone you know and can trust about the amount of rds down the bbl?

Replacement stocks are about $50. Removing the paint from the bbl, if painted, might be a problem.

I bought one 2 years ago and it was on clearance for $300. They've come down in price since the Edge/Axis hit the market.

No more than $175 would be fair.

I do not know the seller, he said he had no idea of the round count.

No matter now [beeep], he got mad when I offered $200 and said I can get one new for around $300. He said he was only making $25 on the gun...? What an idiot. Why buy a Stevens 200 for $250 if your planning to resell for a profit?

Did u buy the last 2 there were @ that price? Lol they are high for the most part on there too...I will probably just wait til they go on sale somewhere. I am literally just amazed at what people try to sell guns for. I guess somewhere along the line someone pays the high prices maybe...? Maybe I am in the wrong freakin business...

If you want true amazement, check out pawn shops. Rifle brand new on the shelf everywhere for $350. Beat to [beeep] and set on fire twice at the pawn shop, $1700.

If he wants to make a profit he needs to hang on to it for a lot longer than the Steven's 200 has been on the market. Like at least another 10 years. O well, there is no figuring some people out.

I don't know if you have an Academy Sports in your area but, they usually have them new for $249.99. They also run good sales on them if you can catch them. I have seen them on sale for $199.99 and I just bought a .270 on sale for $179.99. I couldn't beat that deal I didn't need a .270 but you can't beat that price for a new action.

I'm looking for that "set on fire once" special.

Aint that the truth, gunshows around here are notoriously overpriced too.
