257 roberts loads

Want to start playing with my Winchester 70 in 257 Roberts. I am looking for ideas on where to start with loads for the 257. I have on hand in .257 some 100 gr Speer Hot cors,, 100 gr Speer spbt, 120 Hornady HP's, and 110 Accubonds.
Any ideas or thoughts?

Mines an Ackley Improved but I'm using H4350 with a 115 Berger and CCI BR-2 primers. Don't see why that powder wouldn't work in yours.

Unfortunately the hornady 120s are discontinued. 4064 and varget are great. Dont count out the 90gr GmX bullet. Great velocity and rock solid bullet.

I shoot 90 gr HP's on top of IMR4350 they shoot flat but are NOT fur friendly.

I use IMR-4064 with a 85gr Nosler BT.

I loaded IMR4895 with 100 NBTs for my daughter's M70. She was lobbing them all into the same hole from the bench.

I've owned a couple 257's over the years. A custom Ariska and a custom Rem 722 with a Buhmiller barrel on it. My goto bullet for big game was the 100gr Partition. For flat shooting pest loads the 75gr V-max and 85gr NBT worked well for me in my 25 cals..

I worked up some loads with varget for the 110 accubonds, my hawkeye was putting them in an inch. Worked like a champ on my deer last year. I also worked up some loads for the 85 b-tips, settled on H380, this one just under an inch. If I remember correctly they were moving 2700 and 2900 fps. Anything in close with the b-tips will need some sewing done.

Mine likes 45gr of RL 19 pushing a 110 NAB with a Fed 210 primer Custom Savage with an Adam & Bennett barrel.
