With the 20 MOA base, where do you zero, can you zero at 100?

i zero everything @ 100 with the 20 moa base it leaves most of your ajustment for elevation...

load test this weekend 120gr smk via h-1000 rl-19 and varget

I had a 2o MOA base on my 308 Win, but I ran out of adjustment, could only get it to 6-8 inches high at 100.

What kind of scope were you using, and how much elevation travel did it have?

It's an older B&L Elite 4200 6-24x40. Tracks well, it's clear, and works fine. Not sure on how much adjustment

I had good luck with H4350 and H4831sc in both the 120's and 140's.

Thats a sweet rig! I am having a 6.5x47 built now, hope I dont regret it. A friend of mine just finished up a 260 build and loves his. Good luck with your new rifle...and the SMKs! lol

When you run out of SMK's try the 130 VLD's.
I've got an 8.5 twist Krieger that loves them jammed in the lands about .003 or so.

h-1000 didnt turn out any good same with rl-19 not pictued
h-380 gave me .270 and the varget i think i can work with the load and powder levels to tighten it up, as with the h-380.. will not stop load testing tell shes sub 1/4...
