.30-06 Accelerators

Anyone know anything about the Accelerator? Just heard about it and was wondering if they were worth it. Plan to use them on coyotes.

I played with them a few years back in a 30-06. They were a 30 caliber sabot with a 22 caliber bullet. Never could get any accuracy from them. We also tried reloading with sabots from an outfit I believe was in Utah with just as poor of results.
 
I got same results in my 30-06, very poor accuracy. They scream at over 4,00fps velocity, for some loads, but fly erracticly. I bought 200 sabots from a reloading supplier several years ago & still have 125 left. Much better off with some light 30 caliber bullets designed for varminting. Hornady makes a nice 110gr pill, that shoots well for me. I have too many 22 caliber varmint rifles now, so I kinda quit fooling with the 30 caliber & light bullets. It is a fun project though.

OK, thats enough said. All the shops in my area say the same thing. Guess my search for varmint rifle continues..
