It will work. I've tried a lot of different powder in 30-06 through the years. Even had some super nice accurate loads using other powder, but it took a lot of worked up loads to get it. You can dump 57gr. of 4350 in a case with a 165gr. bullet, even the Rem. core lock 165's, stick a Rem 9 1/2 primer in the other end, seat them so the feed well and shoot a minimum of 1.5" groups with most any 30-06 rifles. Most will group under that. Make a .2 to .5 grain adjustment if need be and your done.

My Husqvarna 06 thinks 165gr. Nosler Partitions, 57.5gr. of H4350, Rem. brass and primer, is a match load.   Honestly! It shoots them way better than a sporter rifle has 

a right to.
