I'm thinking of selling one of my uppers. I had it assembled by a local gunsmith. I have not shot it b/c of the caliber. Can't find ammo for it.

16"bbl, 1 in 8" twist, free float quad rail, new DPMS upper with DC and FA, new BCG, new CH with Tactical Latch, Phantom .30cal FH.

What's a reasonable price to ask so I have an idea when I put it in the classifieds?

Yeah if you couldn't get at least $550 out of it I would keep it. 300 blkout is popular. Won't have any trouble selling I wouldn't think.

Rail was $200
BBL was $240
Upper, BCG and CH = $220

Do you reload at all? I have read that this round is not hard to form from .223 brass. Simple cut down on the brass and then pass through the sizing die. If not a reloader I am local and would be willing to help out. I don't have the dies but have everything else.

Just something to consider if you are interested in keeping it.
 
I have everything to reload including tons of .223 brass, Dillon 650 set up for .223/5.56 and a couple of single stage presses for hunting calibers.

The dies are $60 at sportsman's.

Still undecided but thanks for the offer!
 
Understood. I am in the same boat with a sporterized 1903a3. Not sure what I am wanting to do with it. 30-06 doesn't trip my trigger.
