308 168gr Berger hybrid hunter load data

Can somebody tell me what the min and max charge is for a 308 with varget. I used data from my manual and ran into horrible pressure signs at 45grs of varget. I do not have a Berger manual and they are not answering their phones.

That is the data I used. Said 46 is max and I was getting pressure signs a 44.5 and it went bad at 45grs.

Book max is just a suggestion doesnt mean your rifle can handle that load.Are you into the lands?

I run 42.0 gr of Varget with that bullet.

Go to the Berger website and contact them via email asking for load data with their bullet. I've always had fast response from them with more than enough data to get you on your way.

I load 44.5 gr of Varget with no pressure signs out of a 20 inch barrel with that bullet. Lee manual says max load is 46 gr.

The Berger book says start load varget 38.0 and max load 42.5

Man and I thought the Hornady manual was a little weak on their loads.
