I was wondering if match bullets would be a good choice for deer hunting and killing yotes with? Ive heard reports of not to use these kind of bullets for hunting. What do you all think about this?

Hornady AMax seem to work fine in the .308 but not sure about the HP's. My .308 has dropped everything up to Elk with the A max's this year with no issues.
Hog shot at a coincidental 308 yards with 178gr A Max.
Same day shot an elk at about 80 yards. Ran 10 yards and piled up. By the way these are free ranging elk in the Davis Mountains. Mine was a small cow I wanted for meat but there were some big bulls spotted but I was always in the wrong place at the right time.
