I'd look try bullets such as the Nosler 150gr BT and Hornady 168 A-Max for starters. For fox or coyote, the Hornady 110gr V-Max (if available) and/or the Nosler 125gr BT would be great.
I'm a big fan of the .308 Win despite it's losing flare and favor now days.
4895 is an excellent powder for 308/30-06 and the 125 gr. NBT is a great bullet in both calibers (1:10 twist)for coyotes if pelts are not to be saved. I think you have your work cut out finding a fur friendly ,308 bullet for a fox from what I've read here (no fox down here). I'm using H4895 and data a bit different between that and IMR. RL15 also does well in my 308, which likes mild loads and is downright finnicky about the (few) bullets it likes. Here's a couple of different loads and bullets that have worked in it. All groups are 5 shot:

Same 125 NBT in my M1 (30-06 1:10 twist) shot bottom group .69" moved scope and shot center group measuring .79".
RL 15 worked well w/150 gr. NAB in the .308.

As usual, start low and work up.
