Varget and 150gr noslers. I have ballistic tips, accubonds, partitions loaded, all work. The 125gr ballistic tip is impressive also.

I dont have alot of experience with Rugers. A couple of places to check for lapua cases are powdervalley.com and brunos shooting supplies.

On your loads though...if your only reaching out to 600yds the need for speed is taken out of the equation. I would look for a good midload developed with some RL15 42 to 43grs and Varget or IMR4895.

600 yds is not far in terms of long range shooting. It would be a stretch for most people while hunting but for target shooting not at all.
We shoot iron sighted M1Garands and AR15's ot to 1,000 yds for national match competitions.

A scoped 7.62 or .308 could still be able to make hits at 1,400 yds depending on bullet speed and BC.

Win brass, 47.5 Varget (compressed) and 135 gr Serria bthpm or 125 gr Serria. Good loads and reduced recoil. My ctgs don't show excessive pressure. The primers still have rounded edges. Have not shot them in summer yet.

Ruger M77V Heavy Barrel - Leupold 3.5 - 10 VariX II
168 Gr Sierra HPBT
42.2 Gr RE-15
CCI Benchrest Primer
Remington Casing (Can't afford the Lapau which is the best)
