35 rem Lever gun

Well I put a scope on my Marlin 35 rem.Just got back from the range. We can only shoot 50 yards there. With a small caldwell front rest and a folded jacket for the rear this marlin puts 3 shots same as touching and a little better.I never measured but I would say CTC the groups are around 5/8in.to 3/4in.Thats with 200 gr. vamx.Im very happy with it. The trigger is a little heavy but not to bad. A trigger job should help it to group maybe a little better.

I have a older 336 marlin in 35 rem.and must say it is a heck of a good gun and with 175gr bullets it will put a whitetail down as good as anything else I have seen.And will shot under a inch no problem.It was my first deer rifle I have ever owned.
