I don't know how all of you did, but I had a great bird shoot in Arizona. Me and my partner limited out all 4 days. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Wasn't as hot as usual, had are limits by 8:00 am. Should have limited sooner but was using a 410 double barrel with full chokes and birds were coming fast and close in. Switched to my 20 gauge pump with modified choke and was dropping them like flies.

It was a great shoot for us. Hope all of you did the same. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

we brought back about 100 birds.. the girls did not hunt that much.. once i got away from the guys with the 12ga i did not have much trouble getting limits with the 28ga.. my son and i are going back this weekend... get in front and keep swing!! grampa fudge /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

just tried a recipe we saw on tv... filet the breast.. marinate the breast with tabasco and lawrys seasoning salt..one hour.. cut japalenos in half.. remove seeds.fill with cream cheese. put a dove filet on both sides and rap with bacon. secure with tooth picks.. bbq till bacon is done... it's simple and tastes great!! grandpa fudge /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Reading this kind of stuff makes me want to cuss couse for the last 4 years here in north west new mexico 1 week before dove season there are doves every where and than the rains come and goodby doves

I put a twist on ya'lls recipes. Stuff the fillets with Monterey Jack cheese, celantro, and a slice of cerano pepper and rap in bacon.

Next mix up honey and orange juice in a bowl (heavy on the honey so its kinda thick. With tongs, submerge the brests in it and put them on the grill.

As they cook keep dipping them in every so often. What you get is a sweet coating of glaze.

My wife took a dozen or so to a women's luncheon at church. They wiped 'em out and wanted more. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif
