.450 Marlin case length?

Getting ready to load up some 450 marlin, and was prepping my brass. I noticed about half of it is noticeably shorter than the other half. Got to looking at the factory rounds I have, and all the FTX loads(lever revolution) have shorter brass. I'm assuming mixing the brass is a bad idea, seeing as how I have to crimp in the groove on the bullets. In doing so half my loads would be quite a bit shorter than the others. So, do I get new brass, in the longer length, or trim the longer brass I have to the shorter length? Or, load some of both, and see if it makes a difference in accuracy/poi. I can't see how it wouldn't though. Suggestions?

Is it all the same brand of brass? If so I'd just trim it all to the same length as long as that doesn't make it to short.

Should be fine to trim it all the same. That way you won't have to constantly be readjusting the seating.
