After last season I picked up some harvester sabots for .475 bullets to try in my .50 caliber MK-85. After seeing 240-260 grain bullets fail to exit on deer several times I had been shooting .452 diameter 300 gr XTP's. These bullets have performed very well on several deer I've shot with them. After seeing the larger caliber sabots available I couldn't resist trying them. The 325 gr 475 bullets should be deadly in a muzzleloader. Has anyone tried this combo yet?
