What kind of target shooting?
What distance typically?

1:8 twist and 20” barrel all day long for what you will be doing. Mine shoots the 123 down to the 107 really well. To bad the 107 smk are non existent now days. Get a adjustable gas block, the Grendel’s are very gassy.
Great caliber out to 800yds
.

for the distance that you are shooting it really doesn't matter. My son and I each have a grendel. Both have BA barrels. Mine is an 18in and his is a 20in. the speed that I have crono using the same can on both guns using the same loads. The 20in gains you 48.8fps which at your ranges are not that much. the down fall is that everytime we move from one location to the next my son has to screw the can off to get it to fit into his double case in order to get the case to zip up all the way. My 18in fits with a little room to spare. and with the way the guns are set up mine feels to balance better on the tripod. his is slightly barrel heavy. either will do just fine for what you want to do.
