I have shot 4 coyotes now with the 62g ELD-VT's. Running them at 3350 out of my 22br. All have died but bullet performance has varied, one at 150yrd ran about 60 yrds and piled up, one at 175yrds went about 45yrd, one at 317yrds dropped right there (frontal shot looking my direction)
And the last was 202yrds he made it the furthest about 100yrd.... All well placed shots (not a big sample size but..)

Just wondering what others are experiencing.

I have not shot them, but they sound like they're a great varmint bullet. I'm guessing your rifle has the proper twist.
I shoot a 62-grain soft point in my 22-250, it has a 1x12 twist and should not stabilize a bullet that size, and it doesn't going slower. But I have it a bit overloaded, and the speed seems to make it stabilize. I have never had a coyote run off after I hit it right at any range.

Yup twist is 1-7.5 28" barrel this one made it 100yrd. Shot distances 202 slightly quartered away...that's the entrance.
No problems with accuracy they shoot very well out of my setup.
I'm just curious 🤔

Are you getting exit holes on these coyotes that are running off and dying?

After shooting many coyotes over the years with many different rifles I have seen way more coyotes run a ways off that have had exit holes. Most of the bang flop kills don't have exit holes.

When I first started calling coyotes I was shooting Sierra 52 gr Match bullets out of a 22-250 and I had lots of exit holes and runners. When I switched to 55 gr hollow point varmint bullets I got way less exit holes and most of the coyotes flopped over dead without taking a step.

Yes i am getting exits on broadside hits.
This is just a new bullet for me ( know experience using it, and small sample size) wondering about others with a lot more under their belt with this bullet.

I mean they are going down just not drt in the 4 I have shot.

I do have a good inventory of bullets to experiment with and lots of time.👍

I use my 6br and 243 a lot as well...too many choices.
I like the br in both 6 and 22 very good accuracy and a little cheaper on components...powder consumption lol.

I have been curious about these bullets for a while and have yet to get a good read on them as far as performance.
One guy says they are "absolutely devastating" while another reports runners. Some say they are decently nice to fur while the other reports massive damage. Any time I make up my mind I hear another report that makes me question my decision to try or not to try them

I've only personally seen 2 hit with the 62 ELD-VT. One out of my 22 ARC, the other from my brothers 22 Creed. Both were DRT.
This is the one from my brothers 22 Creed. Absolutely crushed it. No exit.

Bullets are weird like that. For example, my brother claims he's had mostly runners with the 75 ELDM. I've killed 60+ coyotes with that bullet, and maybe 4 or 5 took another step. 🤷‍♂️

Finding a fur friendly yet deadly round is a life long endeavor. Even the rounds I use now, although rarely, will cause massive damage. The moment of impact is so chaotic. A round traveling that fast is inevitably going to do weird stuff on impact sometimes. This shot was made with the rounds I use to save hides. The round entered and turned to shrapnel. No exit wound. This is about 80 percent what my shots do with these rounds. The other twenty percent can be kinda graphic. Usually when I am skinning them, I see what caused the excessive damage. A bone was struck at an angle or something like that. I guess what I am trying to say is that most of us are using high speed rounds and at these high speeds strange stuff is bound to happen. I have read that with high speed rounds, even striking a weed or high grass will change the nature of the shot (although minimally). Alright, I am done rambling.

I hear ya there! Just go to any Facebook group and ask if Vmax are a good coyote bullet and you will be assaulted by people singing its praises and others putting it down like they don't trust it to even put a hole in paper

I don't have anything to shoot them in, but a buddy tried them in his 22 cm and it didn't work well, they weren't designed for those speeds. Nemnich has killed a few hundred in the last year+ according to him with them and swears by them in the 22 Arc at AR speeds.
