I need some reloading help for the above mentioned rifle. This is in an ar platform and I cant find any starting points or top of the load for this caliber as well as powder recommendations' fellas shooting 6mm acr please help an old guy out .I am really looking forward to this caliber it is a target gun only as disability keep me from hunting these days.
Thank You for any info.
All The Best To You Rick!

I have been shooting the 6mm ARC for a couple years now and have had brass on back order so long I think the orders have self-purged, I need to check. Hornady hasn't supported this cartridge as good as others, shame, it's a great cartridge in the AR15 platform.

This is Hornady's GAS GUN load data...

This is for BOLT GUNS...

Until I burn through about 600 rounds of factory ammo to get reloadable brass, I won't know which powders or bullets will shoot best in my rifle (AR15).

I've put about 2000 rounds through 3 different 6ARC's, and I'd start with Leverevolution first, followed by CFE-223.

A BIG THANK YOU to all of you for the help! I will continue to watch this post as all info is important to me.
Thanks Fellas
Rick

Looking at the data and the case volume, seems like the case life would be short with top end charges and even start blowing primers. At least it's a small primer pocket.

Still considering this for my grandson since it has some factory support to use for deer and predators.

I have been running 87gr VMAX with either Accurate 2495 or Vihtavuori N135 in my 20" EBR. I get around 2930FPS with N135 and around 2800 with 2495, sub-MOA with both. Slightly tighter groups with the Vihtavuori. The sweetspot for the ARC seems to be 80 -95gr pills.
