I am new to neck sizing down like this, I am starting a build for a new 22 Creedmoor and like everyone else can't find the brass I want. Can I size straight down from the 6mm to the 22 with a normal Redding Full length sizer or is there a better way to do it. It seems 6mm brass is slightly easier to find.
Thanks in advance for any help!!

I have used nothing but 6mm brass since I built my 22 Creedmoor. I use a Redding FL Type S die with a .251 bushing for Hornady brass. I size from 6mm to .22 in one step, and have zero issues.

You probably already know this but ADG makes 22 Creedmoor brass and it's very good quality. Also, it'll give you the correct headstamp but to answer your question, as others have already said, going from .243 down to .224 in one pass is fine too.

I appreciate all of the replies!!
I would like to find Large Rifle primer pocket just because that's what I have the most of on hand. Not sure if it makes a difference or not. I am really looking forward to this build, I just got notification that my barrel shipped that I thought would be months out yet.

It will also depend on your chamber dimensions, if you have a tight neck you might have to turn the necks.

I've never talked to a single guy who's had to turn necks from 6mm to 22...6.5 on the other hand ..

And I know a bunch of guys shooting 22 Creed
