6mm Hagar brass in stock

Well since it is now in stock how many guys on here had an order in and it is shipping and how many guys have placed an order now?

Kind of hard for me to talk with the brass manufacturers with maybe and I thinks. Some hard data would be nice.

I ordered one batch of 500 and I'm debating getting a second batch. It has shipped and will be here Tuesday. More than one source for brass is always welcome especially since I don't have a lot of love for Hornady brass. Personally I would be happy with the plain cases Starline makes providing it was long enough to form the NXS or Hagar brass. Anything more would just be an awesome bonus.
 
Yes it would be great if starline made it in 6mm hagar . Most of the brass that Creedmoor sports sells goes to guy's that shoot camp perry. so a 6mm hagar brass from starline would sell like hotcakes. And the wildcatters would benefit from this also. I also prepay my order so when it comes in they send me a email that its being shipped to me
 
I was notified of a possible defect in the new brass and to not shoot the ones on the way right now. They said as more information comes to them they'll email it out.

Interesting. I see it's been pulled from the website.
 
Yep. I got notified this AM. Over on another thread it was posted there were some cases with wrinkled necks and they are sorting them. I have 500 in transit..lol

Over the weekend, we were contacted by a customer who received an abnormal percentage of scrap brass in his 6mm Hagar shipment. We’ve been in contact with Hornady and they said that when it comes to special one-time runs such as this, naturally there’s a chance the scrap rate could be higher.

Please carefully sort your brass, as we're sure all of you do, and if you believe you have a significantly larger amount of unsafe and unloadable pieces than you typically find from Hornady, please contact us for steps to remedy the situation. Both Hornady and Creedmoor Sports want to make sure you’re happy.

I got home and examined the 503 pieces I received. Two had ragged case mouths and one was a slight ragged edge and a TINY little wrinkle in the neck. So I got my 500 pieces I ordered exactly. Ritch will be happy as 250 are his now.

I reported this to Creedmoor and got this response back so it looks like we are GTG pretty much.

Sounds good. Most people are finding only a small amount of issues like you did.

I decided to sort my brass carefully to see what I got.
502 cases total
466 good cases
2 badly deformed cases
34 cases with neck splits/ damage that cannot be loaded

It wouldn't hurt to send them a note. On a limited run case like this I would not find 7% acceptable. It's not like you can reach down and pick up a ton off the ground like 223 or 308.
