6x45 or 6 ARC

I am thinking about another rifle. Wanting a lightweight calling rifle, looking at a Howa mini in 223 and have rebarreled into a 6x45 16" bbl and threaded for my suppressor, or just go with a Mini in 6 ARC and cut barrel to 16" and thread for my suppressor. Probably still shoot under 75gr bullets. Don't need for deer or bigger animals, got a 6.5 Creedmore for that. Gave serious thought about one of my CZ 527's or Kimber Montanas in 223, but probably going to sell a couple since they are pricey now. ANyone here still use either?

Yeah, 6x45 doesn't make a ton of sense to me considering you can have an ARC. Looks like you can get a Howa with a 20" barrel already threaded. I would try that out before deciding to chop it. I think 20" is fine, even with a 9" can on the end. You can't get that velocity back once you chop it off.
