7.5 Swiss

Nope. Different head size and not long enough. The differences are small so if you had no choice it might work? Definitely a 'last resort' type thing.

no but you can just make 7.5 swiss, out of 284 winchester, all it takes is a run through the FL die. The rim is slightly smaller but still big enough to feed just fine from a k31 or k11

Steve,
I appreciate your help and want to ask this question, but am afraid of being understood as rudeness. So, please pardon me if you find it offensive, it is not my intention at all.

Being a newbie on case forming (never did it before) I need to learn from actual experience. Have you actually done this 7.5 Swiss case forming yourself? Is there any risk involved? any chance of blowing up/accident? any caution I have to pay attention to?

Thanks for your help.

Howard

Using the 284 will probably work but is another 'last resort' thing. The rim is too small the case body is too large and the length is too short. If there was absolutely no other alternative, you could probably make it work.

This is not newbie territory!!!!!!!
