anyone have a good load for a 1 in 7 twist in an AR m4, I just want a decent group, and I started at 22.5, 23, 23.5 grms but still shooting 2" groups at best. It's got to get better, I'm not as concerned with speed as long as they carry enough velocity to put a yote to sleep. I truely appreciate any insight some of you pro's would be willing to share with me.

Can't help you with the m4, but my notes show that W748 with the 75 hpbt worked best with 24g in my 22 inch barrel Savage bolt. Velocity was 2,675 fps average, and that load shot in the .6's moa. I got slight primer flattening with the 24g load, and didn't try any higher.

I found one other load with W748 at 23.4g which would shoot sub moa, but velocity was only about 2,560 fps with it.

For the m4, you might try Benchmark which is faster, but has given me good velocity and accuracy with the 75 bthp. It might help to get your speed up in the shorter barrel. 23.5g Benchmark gives about 2,760 fps in the Savage and shoots sub .5 moa consistently. Will try in my AR with 16 inch barrel if we ever get a weather break.

Oh, I'm assuming you meant grains and not grams in your post!
