94 Marlin

I've been able to pick up a used 94 Marlin in .44 magnum. While I've loaded that round for my Super Blackhawk, never for a rifle. I've used Hornady's 240 grain XTP for that gun, and am thinking about staying with it for the rifle, even though, for now its just a fun gun, with no hunting planned. Although i think it would be fun to try to shoot a coyote with it. Anyhow, does anyone else have s suggestion for a round? It's a micro groove barrel, so I'd like to stay away from lead. Thanks.

Fwiw mine shot federal american eagle 240 jhp's soooo well i never looked further.
