A Hint For Protesters Blocking Traffic

This happened the other day for the May Day rally in south Carolina.

The protesters were out there with kids blocking traffic and then saying the driver was endangering the kids.

Anyone else think that if you are going to stand in the road and block traffic and are using kids to do so, the child services group should be taking those kids away for putting kids in danger.

Just before my dad was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease,we would set up way in the night ,he would talk about WWII ,he told me the enemy would chain children to bridges,so the allies wouldn't blow those bridges up.This is not different ,putting children in the middle of the road,to get run over.Sick the way these people are acting.

A lot of ppl think this is a new trend. It is not, a century and a half ago they came up with a simple contraception for cattle that used to lay on train tracks. The further north you go the more resources cities already have available, snow plows to deal with these snow flakes. Heck round here we have brush guards and bail spikes... there are so many simple solutions to these antics...

So there's no law that states that you can't intentionally block traffic on a public highway? As also stated, if parents are taking children and intentionally placing them in a dangerous situation that they are creating, there should be consequences.
Give them an inch and they take a mile comes to mind on a lot of things that are and have been going on, maybe it's time to start enforcing laws that pertain to this nonsense.

I'm pretty sure it's illegal to be on the interstate here in PA.

What's interesting is our Castle Doctrine. It says if someone tries to force you from your vehicle to cause you bodily harm, you have the right to defend yourself with deadly force. I see no difference here. Not sure how the courts would rule, though.

Honestly, if I were going to work and these morons did this, I'd do the same thing.

Looked to me like that driver was in pretty serious danger from those protestors and was merely taking evasive action to escape the situation. Also noticed several of those protestors were getting out of Dodge as soon as things got serious and they realized that not everyone thought their actions were just mischievously cute.

There is a law called impeding the flow of traffic. That is the one you get for going cruising these days. And that isnt for stopping traffic, just slowing it down.
