ACCURACY SYSTEMS MINI 14 .223 TO .204

Has anyone ever seen, shot or owned one of these? Wondering if I can continue to shoot using .223 mags after this or if I'd have to use some sort of custom mini 14 - .204 conversion mags?

.204's intrigue me, I would like a volquartzen - but I've hear ASI can turn a mini 14 into (Many Times) Sub MOA.

Any opinions on whether I should just keep it a .223 and use a slower barrel twist to shoot my 40 gr to 55 gr bullets or opt for the .204.

Just looking at there pricing now...800 is pretty pricey for something that might shoot 1 MOA. It would be cool to have a mini 14 in a 204 but if it's not taking advantage of the accuracy of the round what did you really gain? As far as magazines go, you can run 204 out of 223 magazines just fine without modifying them
 
Are you wanting a Mini-14, or a .204? See what people with the Mini-14 are actually shooting with the .204 conversion. Remember, you can't miss fast enough to kill.

Mini 14 is not a caliber, of course. its between .223 or .204 - My mini as is is probably a 3 or 4 moa gun. I would be very happy with 1 or 1.5 MOA actually. The .204 semi auto out of a mini would be pretty cool though. I'm not looking for another AR so its either between not ever using my 4 MOA mini or modifying it to be something useable -.....or.......getting a volquartzen.

Dust - I would like to see what people are shooting with the .204 conversion - that is why I asked the question on here. Do you know of a better place I should be looking that I could find a bunch of people that own the conversion? I could troll emails off of testimonials on ASI's website I suppose.
