I have had good success in the past year using crow sounds, blue jay sounds, hawk sounds and owl sounds with the distress sounds. I often start out with a red shouldered hawk sound and after a few minutes play the distress sound. This has proven to be very effective. I found a web site that had most of the birds of North America on it and downloaded  them. I converted them to MP3 and loaded them on to my Bandit caller. The owl sounds are deadly when calling crows.
