AGM SECUTOR LRF 75-640 vs AGM RATTLER V2 50-640

Yeah that 4x probably wouldn’t work too well down here. I do like the V2 though. Of course I buy the V1 and six months later they come out with the V2.

Yep, Ian the boy in the pic was using the secutor, I was trying to let him shoot but he was having a hard time getting them in the screen with the 4x. I prefer the rattler ove the secutor

I started with an iRay and love it. Bought the AGM just as a back up and used as a scanner. Didn’t like it, couldn’t get a good look through it.
Bought a new rifle and figured what the heck, put the AGM on it and took it out and started playing with it.
Wow! Spend a little time getting to know a scope and I had that joker as clear as the iRay. Dialed it in and now it’s my go to rifle. When I go to buy another, it will be the V2.

I like AGM, I got the varmint V2 LRF today, got it zeroed and shot some pigs and coyote. I feels smaller and lighter than the rattler. I’ve only hunted with it a couple hours but so far I really like it.

Does the LRF have ballistics? If so, let us know how well it works.

It has a ballistic calculator. I don't know if I am going to take the time to set it up. With my rifle zeroed at 1.75' inches high at 100, I have max PBR out to about 400 yards. I can hold the crosshairs level with the top of a coyotes back when it is not real windy and the 22-250 will drop into the coyote. That is the maximum range I feel comfortable taking shots.

With the LRF, I spotted a lone boar. I could not get a range on him until I got to what it was saying was 478 yards. I started getting good readings stalking the rest of the way into 76 yards where I shot him. I found another group of pigs with piglets. Little pigs the size of my chihuahua, I ranged the top of their backs in grass between 100 and 60 yards.

I run a 243 and I pretty much just hold on fur to 350 yds as well. 50 yds zero works well with the 55 and 65 grains and 75-yard zero running 75 V-Max going 3300 plus
