Was extremely fortunate to catch this rare white cow and her calf out in the open this morning before they worked their way back up in the timber to bed down for the day.

What's funny is that two headed elk in your backyard. Its brown head lookin north and its white head lookin south (or east/west as the case may be). See were it's going and see where it's been all at the same time. That sumbuck is a real freak.

Produced a cute calf though.

That picture was on the front page of a few newspapers in the
area. That was 5 years ago.
That baby llama was killed by wild dogs 3 days after I took the
picture. Thats what started my war on wild dogs.
The big white llama was killed by a mountain lion 3 years ago.
Another big female llama was killed when lightning hit the tree
she was standing under.

Missouri has not been kind to our llamas.

The white dog is Sue. She's now 12 years old and going strong
but no longer guarding llamas and goats. Retired and living
in the house. She just slowed down to much to deal with certain
predators. We retired her the day after the mountain lion killed the
llama.

If you're gonna pull our legs, you have to work a little harder than that!

Good one.

Hey, where's that picture of the llama in the back of the truck in Montana after being shot and field dressed by a non-resident elk hunter? We really need that one about now.
