Just bought a RRA Elite CAR .223 upgraded like I wanted it built. 1/9 twist. Topped with a Leupold M1 Mark 4 Tactical 2X8X36 with the tactical and Illuminated Recticle.....Man, it shoots soooo......sweet.

would y'all tell me what your favorite load is. right now I have a 1/9 twist 16" barrel shooting 60gr. VMaxes and they are pretty accurate.

Fantastic Rifles.

I have a Pred Pursuit that makes a ragged hole all day long. Not that heavy in the 20" stainless version. Put a 6.8 upper on order for deer and would like to get a LAR-8, Pred HP as a nice long range shooter.

Best of luck,

Ted

for the good citizen who delights in seeing clusters in targets, I would post mine but unfortunately it is on the way to a landfill in Loganville, Ga. Nonetheless, I had 3 shots with 60 gr. VMAX Black Hills Ammo at 100 yards that measured .675 and that was shooting off of an old bench in the national forest through a 4" gap in two pine trees at 100 yards.....but be warned....I prefer to post the beast with the football sized hole in his carcass....

If your RRA 6.8 is like mine, you will be happy. It puts
90 gr. Sierra HPs into sub MOA group easily. The 110 gr.
V-Max bullets produce groups on average a bit under MOA, too.
I am working a 110 gr. Sierra Pro Hunter up now as a northern
whitetail round, and I am sure it will go sub MOA, when I am
done. RRA makes nicely accurate 6.8 uppers. Mine is a 18"
mid length gas version. I pulled the free float tube, and
installed a YHM Diamond Mid-length rail tube, so now it
looks as nasty as it shoots.

not to h/j the thread, but where are you getting brass?? have the dies ready but only about 100 rds of brass and 260 loaded 115 gr Remington from Sportsmans guide. It will be easy to empty them, and fun, but always looking for easy to load brass.

thanks for the help
